Sunday is devoted to leisure, free time and entertainment. 3 weeks to discover international relations, the american government, the different world challenges, the working of the governmental and non governmental organisations, to meet the political experts on their work sites, political leaders, historians. You will make some case studies, simulations, research, take part to conferences on globalisation, economic progress, the impact of the international help on the relations between rich and poor countries, peace and security in the world. Yo will also develop your personal talents of leadership by working on communication, expression in public, conflict solution, team management, group dynamic, management techniques. Visits: the american State Department, the diplomatic missions of Washington, the United Nations, the Capitol, the White House and the Supreme Court. SUMMER RIDING CAMPThe school has its own riding center and welcomes young riders from 13 to 18 years old to improve their technique and their knowledge of the horse and its environment in a warm and fun atmosphere. 4 hours of English each morning with qualified teachers + 2 hours of riding. ANIMATIONS AND EXCURSIONS FOR THE 3 PROGRAMMES On Sunday, the students take advantage of the facilities of the school (6 tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a basketball field, a fitness room), hike in the Appalachian Mountains, watch a baseball game of the Baltimore Orioles, do some shopping in Georgetown, have fun in the close theme parks. All these activities are supervised by the school staff.
