WELCOME TO PRE-COLLEGE AT PRINCETON Join us this summer for our Pre-College program, designed to prepare high schools students for the demands of collegiate academics. Living on the Princeton campus and working alongside exceptional students from across the country and around the world, you will study an exhilarating selection of subjects taught by leading professionals, distinguished scholars and campus lecturers.Princeton's campus is located on 500 acres in central New Jersey.An excellent transportation network puts Princeton within easy reach (an hour or less) of major urban centers : Philadelphia and Trenton to the south, Newark and New York to the north. PROGRAM You will experience collegiate academics and campus life!You will choose from over one dozen major subjects to study: economics and investing, psychology, principles of marketing, literature, anthropology, the american legal system, history, american government, philosophy, architecture, engineering, great losers in history, creative writing. If you are not sure which major to pick, don't worry, you will choose two minors in addition to your major, so you can explore multiple areas.Each morning you will attend a course with a structured curriculum covering a broad range of subject matter related to the major of your choosing. During the four-week session you will delve into college life by taking courses, interacting with fellow program participants, and staying in a college dormitory.Class discussions, evaluating key course concepts, debates, projects and presentations will help you prepare for the demands of collegiate academics. In addition, you will enjoy a variety of social activities as well as off-campus excursions in Princeton, N.J. as well as nearby New York City and Philadelphia.
