Sligo - Host family or Residence - 12/18 years old - Riding

We suggest Sligo centre  for the 5th consecutive year. Sligo is located in the West of the country, 15 minutes away from long beaches with dunes. The riding centre is certified by the Irish Ministry of Education and is managed by Declan Mc Garry, European junior silver medalist in obstacle jumping.

You like nature, sport and to be in a friendly atmosphere, then you will love Ireland to learn English in an wonderful environment !

In Sligo, you will discover the Irish hospitality and the Irish charm. The school, certified by the Irish Ministry of Education, has been organising language programmes for children for the past 20 years.

ACCOMMODATION In a host family:  Either in the city of Sligo, or in the small seaside resort of Strandhill, or in a family living near the riding centre, children have their lunch at the centre (packed lunch). Each family only has one French-speaker, but may also have a child of another nationality. In a residence: Rooms of 4 beds with bathroom. Capacity of 15 students only ! ENGLISH CLASSES  15 hours of English classes per week, taught by qualified teachers.

HORSE RIDING   18 hours of riding per week. The centre is certified by the Irish Riding Federation and has 55 horses, 10 ponys, a ring, a race course , a cross country riding, a bar-shop, and a game room.  Students will also have the opportunity to groom the horses and go for rides in the forest or on the beach and discovery of prehistoric sites. This riding centre organises (from galop 5) an intensive training of obstacle jumping; groups of 5 riders, conducted by Declan Mc Garry.

EXCURSIONS & ANIMATIONS
Animations are organised 4 or 5 evenings per week at the centre (music, disco, pool, video...).
At the end of the stay, a barbecue party will be held with delivery of a certificate to each rider.
