Bruton College is located in the heart of the Somerset countryside, 2 hours south-west of London. The historical towns of Bath and Salisbury are only 40 minutes drive from Bruton. Founded in 1900, the school has excellent sport facilities as all the large private English schools : 25m swimming pool, tennis courts, a gymnasium and a theatre. Next summer 150 children of 12 different nationalities will stroll around the 100 hectares of Bruton park.AccommodationAccommodation is in rooms of 1-4 beds, and in "mini-dorms" (4 to 6 beds) for the younger children. In each building : bathrooms and sitting room with TV. English lessons3 hours of English lesson per day 5 days per week in the morning. Tennis2 hours per day, 4 days a week on the "hard courts" on the campus. Dance3h of dance class per day over 4 days :1h30 jazz et 1h30 classical dance are given by the dance teacher at the College. Multi-activitiesAn excursion, a sport activity or crafts activity every afternoon. Olympic games, rugby, football, tennis, graphic arts. Evening entertainment: disco, cabaret. Excursions- A half-day excursion to, for example : Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat, Bath, Wells, Salisbury & Stonehenge. - Full day excursions to, for example : Oxford, Cardiff, London, Bath, Portsmouth, Windsor, Exeter.
