Verneuil - Residence - 8/17years old - Tennis, Riding, Sailing, Multisports, English, "A" level prep

Located  in the Yvelines, 30mn west of Paris, this superb sports centre is tucked into the countryside. Surrounded by two lakes and the river Seine, the facilities here are excellent : 5 tennis courts, football, basketball and rugby fields. There is also a very good riding school (5 minutes by foot).
Our centre welcomes every year young people from all around the world !


ACCOMMODATION

Residence of the leisure centre, in rooms with 2 to 4 beds onsite. Meals in the restaurant of the centre (self service).
 

LANGUAGE CLASSES

English for the French and French for the others.
The language classes are given by English native speakers (or by French native speakers for the foreigners) in groups of 12 maximum.
3 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
Level test at the beginning of the week.
The students work on grammar and vocabulary through roleplay, or video reports to improve their pronunciation and develop their linguistic imagination.



TENNIS

2 hours of training every afternoon on the 5 courts of the centre.
Drills, conditions of real match play, single and double tournaments with prize are all part of the programme and our tennis players love it !
Intensive tennis : 5h of tennis, training, physical preparation, video, match analysis.
Possibility to combine tennis + multisports.

RIDING

The riding school is located in a wonderful place : in a pine forest, Club House in a chalet style, at only 5 minutes walk from the centre where the students are lodged.
Very good facilities : a covered ring (60x20m), 2 outdoor arenas (80x40m et 40x20m), a spring garden, 2 leisure paddocks and  40 boxes.
2h of riding classes, 5 days a week
Intensive riding : 4 hours a day


SAILING

On a big lake near the river Seine, with qualified monitors and all the safety measures.

MULTISPORTS

This programme allows you to choose between different sports and activities every afternoon : tennis, football, windsurfing, mountain biking, mini-golf, volleyball. Half day excursions to Paris and suburbs are also proposed : the Louvre, Beaubourg, the Eiffel Tower and a boat trip along the Seine to take in the sights.
Intensive multisports : possibility to combine 2 sports, for example, football in the morning and tennis in the afternoon.

NEW THIS YEAR !

"A" Level Preparation : from April 20 to May 3 and from August 17 to 31, we are proposing an exam prep, with 4 hours a day of prep + afternoon of sports.
Students can choose between intensive French ("A" level of French), maths/physics ("A" level of science) or maths/economics ("A" level of economics).


EXCURSIONS

Full day excursion on Saturday : Eurodisney or Asterix Park.
