English diplomas and exams

Cambridge diplomas are recognized everywhere in the world by universities, employers and national control educative centers. They are considered like required standards regarding mastering the english language
One should know that English, North-American, Australian, Newzelander and numerous other  universities recognize CAE (Certificate of Advanced English), CPE (Certificate of Profeciency in English) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System)  the prf that your English level is as good enough for be admissible in their classes.

For MBA, high schools ask for BEC3 (Business English Certificate) for beeing admissible. This diploma is equivalent to the CAE  in term of the language required, but is more centered on Businness English. In the administratif field, UCLES Business examination delivers an individual and objective evaluation of an employee or in capacity of  a potential employee.

Business English certificates are a serie of diplomas intended to those willing bust their carrer. Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) is a system of linguistic evaluation intended to firms and organizations. It offers a flexible and fast programme with a series of options that enables precisely to evaluate the candidate's language level.

Key English Test - KET
It's the basic diploma of English. it also the step towards more advanced diplomas.

Preliminary English Test - PET
Evaluate communication capacities in a social and professional environment. Basic level required.

First Certificate in English - FCE
It's the first Cambridge diploma grade. It's also the most required and studied. It requires an intermediate level, and is recognized alloner the world both in the professional as mell as in the education field.

Certificate in Advanced English - CAE
It's a Cambridge diploma that requires an advanced level. It is intended for those who want to speak English in a professional arean or to integate foreign universities.

Certificate of Proficiency in English - CPE
It's the Cambridge diploma that requires higher English levels . Given by UCLES and recognized by British universities, it is the proof of a sufficiently high level in English to studly in english speeking universities.

International English Language Testing System - IELTS
It is given by UCLES and the British Council. It is recognized by numerous universities in United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New-Zelandand and other countries as the proof of a sufficiently high level to study in English classes. All the candidats take the same oral exam and choose between "Academic" and  "General Training" for the written examination.

Test of English as a Foreign Language - TOEFL
It evaluates capacities of comprehension, writting and reading of the candidate. It can be passed by a writing examination or by software. A sufficient score allows to study in American and Australian universities.

Test of English for International Communication - TOEIC
 That system of evaluation offers possibilities going from academic English to business English. A sufficient score allows to study in most American universities.

Graduate Management Admission Test - GMAT
Evaluation Test of verbals, mathematics and writting skills that allows to enter a managment or International Business school. Oral expression, writting and mathematics applied to gestion in the formof wicth choice questionnary, on computer.

Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages - CELTA
It's the international reference to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) or l'EFL (English as a Foreign Language) .This certificate is internationaly reorganised by educative institutions who employ English teachers. In general, 4 weeks are sufficient to prepare and have the CELTA. Required : being more than 20; you must have a scholastic level that allows you to enter  university in your original country and having capacities (oral and written) for following classes. The admission is not automatic, you'll have to prove your capacities and your motivation.

Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults - DELTA
This Cambridge diploma is intended to adults, it's on of the teachers most recognized certificate in the world for ELT (English Language Teaching). The formation includes courses about teaching technics and observations of lessons.
